Today, major causes we have known in agriculture domain for a long time is farmer have to take time to grow veg food but no way to proactively decide what to growing before end customer come to store front.
According to our long term behavior analysis most of the customers prefer come to nearby grocery store or well-known supermarket for veg food products frequently. Therefore we need a well-designed distribution and dispatching network can fit in such a customer behavior town by town, city by city in time. On the other hand, an in city vertical greenhouse can solve such an issue.
Through prebuild big-data pool screen out those accumulated order history log (off-line order) and customer pre-order records (on-line order) then we can precisely building our own forecasting production plan based on veg food growing cycle just like normal contract manufacturer in other industry.
Once we can proactively know when customer want and what customer want then we can seeding on the cultivation cup one month before or even earlier stage.
As part of this idea a fully automated smart farm can be more systematically follow forecast production plan to take care all growing veggies with minimum labor force 24 by 7.
Imagine there is a single medium sized greenhouse (quarter acre; NOT leisure farm) come with vertical cultivation system, water spraying control system, fertilizing system, light sensor, moisture sensor, thermal sensor, most of the labor are replaced by OHT (overhead hoist transport), AGV (automated guided vehicle), robot arms, computer and no more pesticide or agricultural chemical treatment. Such a facility can very easily provide 20 to 30 different fresh veg products without long distance transportation and it just located in your town or city to service 500 families daily. If we can multiply such a scenario in the future that will be a big change on agriculture business ecology.
The most critical things in traditional farming business will be labor force shortage, natural disaster damage crops; long transportation caused waste, waste by unsold product, over usage of pesticide and chemical fertilizer. All of these issues can be addressed and prevented.
The business strategy is not only conquered above issues. It is agriculture tech and IT technology joint knowhow combined together. We have to build a direct distribution and dispatching network from end customer to farmer. And I can become the turnkey solution provider linked both end.
Operating farming business for veg products is just another part of my goals. I will also doing deliver facilities business as an equipment supplier for our self-owned design pattern; provide management service as joint business partner. My main goals are controlled data, logistic, service, equipment, customer, supplier, and channel.
Those cities with high density of population such as New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, shanghai, and Beijing. For long term consideration these are major target cities good for my business grows.
We have been deeply involved this project for several years. Unfortunately, we almost burn out all the money from pocket. I really don't want this project failed because of lack capital money issue. I wish your fund can funding us in this seed stage.
For completion the pilot phase I am seeking for 3 million USD as seed fund. To support my team to finish current design jobs and facilities installation work. It will have all related equipment placed in a fully automated tower style greenhouse as a demo site for public. As expected it can sustainable produce sales amount in 1 million USD per year. Once we met the goal then we can easily move on to next step –A global market.
